Brad Armstrong was a student of commercial art and a stripper before getting into the adult entertainment industry. His debut film was Bimbo Bowlers from Boston, a film by Erica Boyer.

Career 

With his then-girlfriend Dyanna Lauren, he directed his first film in 1995 called Checkmate. Brad met Wicked Pictures president and owner Steve Orenstein at the East Coast Video Show. Orenstein soon recognised Armstrong's talent and offered him an exclusive contract in 1996. His first films, Flashpoint, Hell on heels, and Exile and Conquest, were nominated for several awards and were highly acclaimed by critics. In 2001, Armstrong's classic film Dream Quest was the first story to be released simultaneously in both VHS and DVD formats. At the 2001 AVN Awards, Dream Quest was awarded the best-selling and best-renting title of the year.

Brad was married to the famous porn star Jenna Jameson from 1996 to 2001. After they got divorced, he dated Stephanie Swift and Stormy Daniels. In 2006, he married porn actress Jessica Drake.
